4th August 2023

We are all aware of the food crisis that many people are facing in our own town. As Town Mayor, I am continuing to support the work of the Foodbank. Will you join us in being a Foodbank Friendly Business? We want to help you to help the Foodbank with our September campaign – ‘Foodbank Friendly Businesses – One Tonne Campaign’.

Join us by…

  • Registering your business by emailing [email protected]
  • Sharing your involvement in this campaign.
  • Displaying the ‘We are a Foodbank Friendly Business’ poster inside your business that will be provided.

The Foodbank will supply you with…

  • A single point of contact for the campaign – Nick Andrews. Nick is contactable via email

[email protected] or on 07583550676.

  • A branded basket or box to collect the food in.
  • Food pick up as you require it.(Scan the QR code provided which will notify the Foodbank when you are ready for a collection.
  • Posters and window stickers.
  • Free advertising for your business once you register as a Foodbank Friendly Business. This will be on multiple social media channels. Together with the Foodbank, there are around 11,500 Facebook followers that this campaign will reach.

If you have any promotions that you think would be valid for Foodbank users, then please contact the Foodbank who will be happy to assist with promoting the offer.

There is no cost to you – we just ask that you register and join in!  All food donated this way will be weighed as we attempt to reach our Foodbank Friendly Business – One Tonne campaign target.
